Cookie Policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Confecções Cunha & Ribeiro, Lda. (hereinafter "Cunha Ribeiro", "we") uses them on this website and how you can manage, accept or reject their use. When you use this website, the conditions described in this policy apply, in addition to our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device (computer, tablet or mobile phone) when you visit them. They make the website work, remember your preferences and, when you allow it, collect statistical information about how the pages are used. Besides cookies, similar local storage technologies may be used for the same purposes.

How we use cookies on this website

We aim to use as few cookies as necessary. On this website:

  • We always use a small set of strictly necessary cookies for the website to work and stay secure. These do not require consent.
  • We use statistics cookies (Google Analytics 4) only if you accept them. Until you give that consent, they are not loaded.
  • We load the location map (Google Maps) only after you allow it. Until then, a placeholder is shown and no connection is made to Google's servers.
  • We do not use advertising or social media cookies.

Your consent is recorded and can be changed at any time (see "Manage, accept or reject cookies"). We apply Google's consent mode (Consent Mode): by default, statistical collection is switched off and is only switched on after you accept it.

Strictly necessary cookies

They enable basic functions such as remembering your consent preferences and keeping the website working and secure. Without these cookies, the website may not work properly. Because they are essential, they do not depend on consent.

Statistics cookies (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the website (for example, the most viewed pages), in order to improve it. These cookies are only set after you consent and collection applies Google's consent mode (Consent Mode), starting switched off. Processing is carried out by Google. You can find more information in Google's privacy policy and withdraw your consent at any time.

Third-party cookies and services

To reduce data sharing with third parties, we host the website's fonts locally, so displaying text does not contact external servers. The only third-party services that may set cookies are:

  • Google Analytics 4, with your consent (see the previous section).
  • Google Maps, loaded only when you allow the map to be shown on the contact page. At that point, Google may set its own cookies.

International transfers

The Google services mentioned in this policy may involve processing data outside the European Economic Area, namely in the United States. These transfers take place under the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, including the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google has signed up. You can find more detail in our Privacy Policy and in Google's privacy policy.

Manage, accept or reject cookies

When you first visit the website, we show a notice where you can accept, reject or choose by category, in the settings, the non-essential cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can review or change your decision at any time through the "Manage cookies" link, available in the footer of every page.

You can also control and delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the website work. The help pages of the most common browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) explain how to do this.

Cookies and the contact form

This website's contact form does not set cookies. The data you send us through the form is processed as described in our Privacy Policy, which sets out the purposes, legal bases, retention periods and your rights.

Cookies and the newsletter

The newsletter subscription is provided by E-goi, a company based in Portugal that processes data in the European Union. Depending on how the subscription form is integrated, E-goi may set its own cookies. The cookie scan run on the live website before publication confirms whether this happens and, if so, those cookies are added to the table above. The data you provide when subscribing is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy whenever necessary, for example if we change the services we use. The date at the top shows the last update. We recommend that you check it regularly.
